Phil Collins is a successful musician who is known for his impressive and energetic drumming. Unfortunately, due to health issues, Collins can no longer play the drums as he once could.
Collins has had more than one injury over the years that has affected his drumming. In 2007, he suffered a spinal injury that left him with nerve damage.
“My vertebrae have crushed my spinal cord from the position I’m drumming in,” Collins told the Daily Mail in 2009.
“It comes from years of playing. I can’t even hold the sticks properly without it hurting, I even used to stick the sticks on my hands to pass,” he continued.

Although his health problems prevented him from playing the drums, he continued to sing at his concerts in recent years, instead of drumming.
